Description

The beginning of the trail has some water-bar step ups and winding turns. They are all very doable and are a lot of fun on the way back.

Once you reach the top of the ridge, watch for the turn off to the right. If you miss the turn, you'll soon be walking.

Continue south along the top of the ridge. There are some sections of big slab rock and some tight singletrack.

At the furthest point out, you'll find yourself standing on the edge of a red rocky cliff. To the east, you'll see Horsetooth Reservoir, south, the hogbacks and foothills, west Arthur's Rock/Lory State Park, and a couple hundred feet below you, Quarry Cove.
