Description

This trail begins at the northern end of the park road and is blazed orange.

This trail begins at the same place as the West Crest Trail. It continues for the first half mile or so ascending at a pretty reasonable angle. The trail then rolls a bit as it continues through the woods. Finally, the trail turns sharply north and climbs atop a large geologic feature. While not unreasonable, this area can be tricky. Additionally, the rocks are popular with rock climbers so it is important to watch out for equipment. It descends from this formation and heads toward the park road.
