The trail starts at the parking area at the top of Skyline Drive in Davis Mountains State Park. The
State Park Connecting Trail is located on the opposite side of the parking lot. Continue along the the ridge line for outstanding views of the desert. There are a steep series of switchbacks down the side of the mountain, which gives way to a riparian canyon area. Continue on along the dry creek bed (may have seasonal water) to the parking lot off the main park road.
