Need to Know
Trails are minimally maintained so be sure to wear good shoes and be prepared for uneven terrain.
Description
This trail starts near the Mountain Lake Lodge. Hikers can park at the gravel lot near the intersection of Doe Creek Rd and Mountain Lake Rd. To access the trails, hike up Mountain Lake Rd and turn left at the paved Golf Links Ln path. The path is paved for about 0.25 miles and then turns to gravel.
Turn left at the old golf course gravel road and continue for about a mile. You'll reach the old golf course cabin which offers a great view of the valley below! Continue past the cabin and hug the edge of the tree line until you reach the sign for the White Dot Trail. This trail will loop you back to Golf Links Ln with the option to add on other trails in the Mountain Lake Conservancy.
