Need to Know
This hike is bordered by Catamount Falls on one end and Crystal Falls on the other. Shortly after the beginning of
Catamount Trail (Green Mountain Falls), take a left and follow YELLOW trail markers. The initial section (0.10 miles) will require a stream crossing and some rock hopping. After that, there are no trail intersections until reaching the terminus of the trail at the
Crystal Trail/
Kirkpatrick Trail/Thomas Trail intersection.
Description
Narrow singletrack, but very built and immaculately maintained. Comparatively few rocks or other obstacles and no slippery gravel. Fall colors are fantastic along this trail and it is well-shaded for a summer hike. Highly recommend this trail as the middle section of a loop between Green Mountain Falls, Catamount Falls, and Crystal Falls.
