“Connection between One Mile Lake Trail and Ukonom-Cuddihy Lakes Trail.
”
At the junction of One Mile Lake Trail and Secret Lake Trail, follow the signed trail for the stock camp. The trail continues past the stock camp and through a meadow into forest. Past an unnamed creek about halfway along, it becomes nearly choked with brush, but is still passable. It quickly becomes very faint after the brush and requires good route finding skills. Look for cairns and the few remaining cuts through fallen trees that didn't burn completely in the last fire.
It climbs toward a ridge before becoming more clear again in view of Ukonom Lake. It drops while giving some very nice views of the lake. Once it nears the level of the lake, it becomes somewhat faint again as it crosses the inlet and circles around to Ukonom-Cuddihy Lakes Trail and the old camp.
