Description

This is an official park trail for hikers and equestrians. Bicycles are prohibited.

Parking is provided at the north entrance. the minimum elevation is about 87 feet above sea level. You can see current and recent Addicks Reservoir water levels at their website.

You should probably wait about a week after the level drops below 87' for the trail to dry out. In the winter, dry out will take longer.

There are some interpretive signs for trees.

Flora & Fauna

Mosquitoes are prevalent.
