Description

This trail is located in Poor Mountain Natural Area Preserve. The trail can be done in either direction as it connects the Cascade Trail/Canyon Trail and Piratebush Loop Trail junction. There are plenty of technical sections of rock gardens, rock stairs, and small spring crossings. This trail has plenty of steep sections, but also the switchbacks provide some relief. The trail seems less used on the lower section, as most hikers go to the vista and not down to the cascades from this side.
