Description

This trail starts from Reardon's Crossing and runs westward. It follows a doubletrack past the transport station, then enters the woods. Just over the brook, there's a small alternate (on the left) that climbs up the hill. The main trail continues past an intersection, then turns right. It passes over a road, near a steaming pile of mulch chips. It continues through the woods, along the banks of the Deerfield River. At the corner of the river and the North Branch, the trail turns left to follow the river south. The trail comes out to the Mt. Mills East Picnic Area. It doesn't appear that there's another trail here, so you'll have to hike back along the same trail to reach Wilmington.
