Description

This is a steady hike up the park road. The gate is closed, and you can park there and hike up the park road. Trees surround the trail and occasional views are available to the north and south of the adjacent ridges. The real reward is the views from the 1930's era tower at the top, offering great 360-degree views. Fall colors are quite nice with a nice mix of various greens, reds, oranges, and yellows.
