”
Family Friendly
There are pavilions at either end of trail and bike work station and water fountains.
Need to Know
This is a popular trail for the local community. Be aware of pedestrians and other cyclists. This is a metro park— hike only on the clearly marked trails.
Description
This trail features a 100% paved path with a couple of mulched side trails. The first side trail leads to the 5th largest tree in Ohio, the next to a small waterfall.
While it is more common to see road bikes at this park, it may be a perfect starting point to take beginner riders or to just train your endurance.
The trailhead launches into a steep hill that take a 90 degree bend and must be taken with caution. Slowing down before descending the hill is recommend.
There are many places to stop and look at the natural wetlands and wildlife. Deer can be seen throughout the year.
