Need to Know
The area is very hot so it's better to start early in the morning. Vehicles can be parked at Cramer Park, a couple of hundred feet down the road and then hike to the trailhead. Take plenty of water.
No cellphone reception at the base of the trail.
Description
The trail was a road at some point, the vegetation has closed in and the erosion has made it impossible except for maybe rock crawling jeeps. The terrain is rocky with loose grave and rocks and the slope increases gradually from the bottom through the first overlook. The trail is mostly exposed to the sky so there is no mercy from the sun at noon time.
The views from the first overlook are great and usually there is a nice breeze. The top of the hill has unobstructed views all around and incredible panoramic views.
Flora & Fauna
The trail has acacia trees on both sides and some in between the tire tracks.
