Description

Look for the trailhead sign towards the eastern edge of the parking area. It crosses West Dugway Road to another sign for Baker's Pond Trail. In a short distance, the trail follows a woods road (to the left) to a kiosk. From the kiosk, you can take the trail to the left or right. Following the trail to the right, parallels Pittsfield Road, then turns left. The tread mostly runs along corduroy logs through a narrow corridor. It passes by Cross (on the left) and Beaver Pond (on the right). If you're hoping to catch a glimpse of some wildlife, check out Beaver Pond. Watch your step, here, as the ground is quite spongy. The trail runs down to Baker's Pond and takes a sharp curve around the north edge of the pond.
