Parking is available off of MacArthur at the Valley Ranch Library.

This is a straight point-to-point trail with options to add distance by joining some segments together. From the endpoint on Valley Ranch Parkway West, enter the trail and stay on the south side of the canal. Intersections with roadways are off grade with ramps up to the sidewalks at Rodeo, MacArthur, and Saddlehorn. The trail crosses under Valley Ranch Parkway East and connects to the Campion trail system. There are two spurs along canals to the north and one to the south that passes through a small green belt to rejoin the canal system

Ducks and other waterfowl in the canal. Occasionally, you can see turtles swimming.
