Description

This trail is AWESOME! and located next to many other trails. Off Hwy 58, take Goodman Creek Rd (5833) up until the 6-mile marker and you'll pass the 514 spur on your left and parking is on the left and the trail is right there on the right. (The trail is easy to miss). Head on up the trail to Mt June or explore Sawtooth Trail, Hardesty Mt, choose your own adventure.

The lower portion of the trail was constructed in the 1980's to tie into the historic Eagles Rest Trail #3461, which led to the Sawtooth Trail #36 located along the ridgeline between Hardesty Mountain and Mount June.

At the junction, bearing right will lead to Mount June Trail and a left will lead past Sawtooth Rock and on to Hardesty Mountain trail. The trail climbs up the ridgeline with switchbacks and has an excellent view toward the west.
