Description

This is a fun and winding trail with no major obstacles. It's very easy to navigate, just stay right to stay on the main trail. There are several little off-chutes to bypass downed trees, but they merge back into the main trail. The west side of the trail received a lot of hurricane damage, but nothing a a good trail party couldn't fix.

If you need to bail off the trail, the Modena Island Drive Connector takes off from the north end of the loop. Note that the trails that continue on the other side of the road are pedestrian only.

Flora & Fauna

Saw 3 snakes, 1 raccoon, and 1 alligator.
