Description

Great Divide Trail - Section C (Kananaskis Lakes to Field) Alternate Route.

This Alternate Route is a short one mile spur trail that leads to Magog Lake Trail Camp from the GDT. Starting at the northeast end of Magog Lake and following the lake's shoreline, Mt. Assiniboine (AKA Matterhorn of the Rockies) rises majestically above the southwest end of the lake, as one makes their way to the popular Magog Lake Trail Camp.

Please see the resources listed above under Need to Know for up to date detailed descriptions and valuable information.
