Description

You'll need to park along Audubon Road, about 0.5 miles west of Highway M. Look for the gate and old red shed. Access to the trail is near the red shed. There is an opening in the fence to the left of the gate by the red shed. Hikers should head along the edge of the field and forest until they reach the trailhead.

The trail will head into the woods and follow the fence line. At the halfway point, hikers will be on top of a knoll where they can look over the hayfield. In the fall, it is a great spot to observe the Sandhill Cranes. The trail then loops down hill and wanders along the edge of the field.
