Description

The trail is a very level doubletrack path through a wetland created by a retreating glacier over 15,000 years ago. The path follows through dense forests and cross an open boggy area on a boardwalk. A myriad of interesting plants can be seen throughout this loop.

There are also numbered stops that correspond to a guidebook that can be found here.

Flora & Fauna

Many great plants and trees: Atlantic White Cedars, spruce trees, the carnivorous pitcher plant, rhododendron, large ferns, black gums, and the White Calla among many more.
