Need to Know

Parking at the Glen Alps Trailhead requires a $5 parking fee per day or an annual Alaska State Parks pass.

This trail has an intermediate rating due to its grade, creek crossing and route finding.

Description

Hidden Lake is a beautiful tarn perched above the valley floor leading up to Ship Lake Pass from the west and is a fairly popular backcountry camping location. This trail is typically accessed from the Glen Alps Trailhead via Powerline Pass Trail and Ship Lake Pass Trail. Ship Lake Pass Trail forks after crossing the south fork Campbell Creek, where you'll want to stay left. The trail is moderately steep all the way up to the lake.
