Family Friendly Yet another short and easy trail, fun for the whole family!

Closes at dusk, must have a Discover Pass.

Description

This trail starts across the road from the upper parking lot, just off of the Wilbert Trail. This trail is also simple and does not really require a in depth explanation. Just follow the trail (and keep left) until it ends on the Wilbert Trail. If you want to extend your hike take a right on the Fern Gully Trail and follow that to the Wilbert Trail, which you can then follow to the Old Campground Loop, which leads to the lower parking lot. From there it is just a short hike back to the upper parking lot.

Flora & Fauna

This trail runs through an old growth forest, with towering cedars everywhere you look. There are also a lot of deer and berries along this trail.
