Need to Know

The first little bit of this trail is blazed yellow/blue. However, this is not for the Beaver Pond Trail, it is instead for a spur of the Tunxis Trail. Eventually, it turns off of the Beaver Pond Trail and this can be confusing so it is something to keep in mind when you visit.

Description

This is the main trail through Sessions Woods WMA. While it is unblazed, it is a wide, gravel doubletrack with relatively easy inclines and descents. This trail also leads to all of the major attractions in this park including both wildlife viewing blinds, the fire tower, and the waterfall on the brook all of which are accessible by way of short spur trails. All the way along there are interpretive displays about wildlife and conservation.
