The 4.8-mile Bear Creek Trail is located in northern Columbia and links two of the city's most popular parks, the 533-acre Columbia Cosmopolitan Recreation Area on Columbia's west side and the 82-acre Albert-Oakland Park to the east. This wide, limestone trail follows the natural drainage system of Bear Creek and includes a 450-foot boardwalk built on the face of a steep hillside overlooking the Bear Creek.
