Description
Baxa Trail is 0.8 miles long with a fair amount of hill climbing. There is a very short detour along the trail that splits to view a rock outcropping. The trail begins at the Baxa House located on the south side of the Girls Cabin site. The cabin is a sustainable cabin built from locally cut red cedar trees. The trails leads through a gate and starts shady. The trail has moderate inclines as well as loose rocks to hike on.

Flora: Spiderwort, Yucca, Barrel Cactus, Downy Brome, Smooth Brome, Prickly Pear Cactus, Eastern redcedar
Fauna: Prairie Rabbits, Barn Owls, Morning glory, American Goldfinch, Cedar Waxwing, Redtail Hawk
