Description
At the beginning of the trail you get an outlook view on the ocean and Catalina Island. The hike heads down
Burma Road Trail into to Portuguese Bend Nature Preserve. Once the trail turns off the main road onto
Ishibashi Trail, the area is isolated and engulfed in the surrounding hills. Follow
Ishibashi Trail south past several intersections and winds down the ridge. The trail ends at
Burma Road Trail which heads both directions. Take a right to follow this route back to the parking area.
There are many alternative scenic routes to add onto this loop.
