Description

The Bull Canyon Dinosaur Track Trail is a short trail to several tracks and a great viewpoint of Fisher Valley.

The tracks are of a Therapod, likely something similar to a Velociraptor made famous in the Jurassic Park movies. The prints are left in Entrada Sandstone and about 200 million years old. The tracks look as if the dinosaur ran off the edge of the existing cliff, which is 1,000 feet above the valley floor. However, the entire plateau here was once a lowland tropical area close to sea level. There are several interpretive signs along the path.
