Description

Easy to follow signs and tree marking will keep you on the right path. The loop you can take in either direction. A couple portions of the trail are shared with the Sweet Gum Red Trail. The trail begins at the park Visitor Center. The loop portion follows the lakeshore. This trail is named after one of several homesteads which were once located in the loop portion. The trail is blazed yellow and is not accessible to bicycles.
