Description

The Bighorn Peak Trail starts from the Ontario Peak Trail #7W08 about 0.2 miles from Kelly Camp. It follows the ridge east to the summit which has good views of the Mt. Baldy area. This trail is not as popular as the other trails in the area, which gives hikers a greater feeling of solitude.

Flora & Fauna

Jeffrey, sugar and lodgepole pines with white fir offer spotty shade. Bighorn sheep and deer can sometimes be seen.
