When you are down by the river bank, the water level can rise many feet in a matter of minutes when they drain the lake. It is cool to watch the water levels rise and lower so quickly. The paths are well above the high water line so path washout is not an issue.

The trail is well marked but some of the posts can be hard to see. Pay attention to the arrow directions on the posts.

Deer, red fox, raccoon, beaver, osprey, kingfisher, blue heron, bobcat
