Description

Hop on the trail from the back of the parking lot. The first mile passes along a flat, sandy trail past lots of Joshua Trees and occasional large boulders. You'll also hike past multiple pits from old mines.

Soon after, you'll come to a rocky ridge and begin switchbacking uphill. Once you reach the ridge, turn left to hike up along it. From here, the trail becomes even more rocky and thick with cactus and other desert plants.

After a powerful last push, you arrive at the summit where you get a commanding view from the large, blonde boulders at the top.
