Description

This trail is a strong climb up about a mile of switchbacks with around 800 ft. of elevation gain. The bottom starts from Coal Creek Trail #702 intersection in open brush country. As you climb, the trail enters the pine trees with lots of lava rock as you ascend to the top of the Grand Mesa for some great views!
