Description

The USFS Trail #440 traverses along the edge of the cliff face that is visible on the drive into the parking area. Some sections can be quite rocky and steep with tight switchbacks. Eventually, the trail passes Red Mountain to move in and out of timbered sections and alpine meadows that provide epic views.
