Description

The Westwood Shore Trail is a short trail, but it is challenging. There are many switchbacks, and it can be steep at points. The water views at the end are a great payoff for the effort involved in getting back up the trail.

There is a small unmarked junction about halfway through that you can use to connect to the Knudsen Trail and extend your hike.

The trail is best accessed from the parking lot at Marshall Road. From there, start on the Gazzam Main Trail and stay right at the immediate fork in the trail.

Flora & Fauna

Barred owls and Douglas squirrels live in the area.
