Description

This short trail is part of the History Town of Rugby trail system. To access this trail, you can park at the visitor center in town and hike southeast down Old Rugby Parkway, and your trail will be on the right-hand side of the road. There is a sign labeling the trail and pointing in the direction of the trail. You can also access this trail by parking at a pullout/picnic area on Old Rugby Parkway just southeast of the trail and hiking northwest to the trail, which will be located on your left hand side.

The trail is short and ends when it connects to the Allerton Ridge Trail. Another trail, Kellogg loop trail is accessed off of the Cox Branch Trail.

The trail is mostly downhill until it meets up with both the Allerton Ridge Trail and Kellogg Loop Trail. Be careful in wet weather as it does get a tad muddy; also keep your eyes out for very short stumps that can trip you up.
