Description

This trail can be attempted from the Northwest Trailhead (horse area) or the South Trailhead. Starting at the NW lot, the trail is a flat, well-maintained dirt path that opens into fields and food lots. Soon after reaching the fields, the trail continues upwards across two forested knobs as it makes its way to the South Trailhead. Along the way, there are numerous social trails that can prove to be disorienting—use the Hiking Project mobile app to stay on course.

Flora & Fauna

Ticks, poison ivy, and chiggers can all be found in this area, so plan appropriately.
