This trail is a spur off of the Standing Stone Trail-State Game Land 112 Segment and begins at the junction with the Thousand Steps Trail. From the top of the Thousand Steps Trail, to the right (south) is the Mount Union View Trail.

At only 0.3 miles long, this trail is flat and an easy hike. The surface of the trail is at times rocky, and appropriate footwear is recommended. Leading to the top of Little Incline, this trail ends with a lookout to the east and a stunning view of the town of Mount Union nestled in the surrounding mountains.
