Description

This trail is singletrack for the vast majority of the way. Hikers should start at the trailhead and hike to the left around the loop. Mountain bikers should start at the trailhead and ride to the right. There are wooden signs at the trailhead that show you which way to hike/ride, and these signs are also posted throughout the trail for the various side trails. For maximum visibility of mountain bikers, please follow the directions on the signs.

There is a Port-O-Can at the trailhead as well as trash facilities, but there is no place to fill up a water bottle as far as I can tell. The trail has some roots, but the majority of the trail is fairly clear of roots when compared to a more root heavy trail like Erwin Park. This is a great trail for beginner or advanced hikers alike.

Flora & Fauna

Small trees and shrubs. Mostly grasses and open field.
