“A short trail following the edge of private property and Pole Creek.
”
Be mindful of private property and don't wander off trail.
Description
This blue-blazed level singletrack trail connects the Little Lake Creek Loop Trail (LLCL) to the LSHT - Section 1 (Wilderness). You can pick up this trail either from a southeastern bend in the Lone Star Hiking Trail just east of the Little Lake Creek Wilderness or from a five-way intersection with both the LLCL Trail and NF 231, a wide forest road closed to vehicles.
From the LLCL intersection Pole Creek Trail heads north, along the banks of Pole Creek. About half a mile up, the trail turns west to avoid some private property. Be mindful of unmarked roads along here. The trail bends north again and follows the edge of the private property to LSHT - Section 1 (Wilderness). This trail is best used to create some loop routes within the National Forest.
