Description

From this loop you can access almost all corners of the park. The terrain is sandy and grassy along the shoreline, and on the top side of the loop, hikers will encounter the typical limestone rocky surface common to the Texas Hill Country. Several other trails can be accessed from this central loop making for a variety of options for those looking for a longer hike.

Flora & Fauna

While on the trail, you may happen to come across whitetail deer, lizards, snakes, rabbits, and the occasional grey fox.
