Description

Beginning immediately behind the Red River Gorge monument sign, this old forest road has settled into its later years as a nice, well-traveled singletrack along a scenic and rolling ridge. There are many side trails to grand overlooks.

Eventually, the trail fades into not much more than a game trail, but for the most part this is a well-trodden trail that's a whole lot of fun. This can easily be combined with Tarr Ridge for a six-ish mile hike.
