Description

You'll have to share this multi-use singletrack trail with both mountain bikers and horses (like many of the trails in Pace Bend Park). Straddle Yer Saddle offers some shade as it winds through the forest in the northeastern corner of the park, but still be ready for some intense Texas sun when the trail enters small meadow areas.

At about a fifth of a mile from the northern end of the trail, there is a small spur trail that connects to the Powerline Skills Area that looks more well used than Straddle Yer Saddle. The powerlines are a giveaway you've gone the wrong way. You can get to this trail from the northern trailhead which has limited parking or from Lefty which provides access to a larger parking area at the northeastern trailhead.
