Dock Road is a nice dirt road along the edge of the park heading to Steamboat Landing, the site of an old river dock. One can see pilings in Cheesequake Creek from the old dock.

Dock Road heads from the woods through a nice salt marsh with tall salt grass on either side into the depths of the park. Eventually the road disappears into the marsh where one can see the pilings in the distance.

The salt grass was full of birds on the day we visited.
