Description

The trail starts on the south side of the Morgan Territory Road Staging Area. Another dirt road soon joins from the right, but it only leads to private property. There are a lot of small beaten paths that cut across the hills, but Volvon Trail turns left at 0.6 miles. Straight ahead is Whipsnake Trail, which leads to the Los Vaqueros Watershed. You reach another junction shortly thereafter, where Blue Oak Trail is to the right and Volvon Trail turns left.

From here, it's an alternating hike through open space and more forested areas. Hummingbird Trail is to the right at 1.5 miles. Blue Oak Trail joins again at 2.1 miles. After that, the view opens up on the left toward Mount Diablo. Stay left at the next junctions. Volvon Trail ends shortly after Stone Corral Trail joins from the left at a junction with Eagle Trail and Volvon Loop Trail.
