Description

This trail is partly paved and mostly crushed granite. It's an easy and peaceful trail in a popular urban park. This trail would be great for beginners, children, city hikers looking for a quick easy hike, and those with limited mobility. It's a shady trail with lots of native plants and wildlife.

Starting from the junction with the Water Loop Trail, this trail heads north to join the Howard W. Peak Greenway before looping around to head south past the Salado Classroom. Continuing on, the trail meanders through more pleasant forest to reach its end in a junction with the Water Loop Trail.
