Description

This is a short loop that offers visitors a look at 1,500 year-old structures made by the Native Americans that once lived here. Effigy mounds dot the limestone surface, in view of the escarpment to the west and Lake Winnebago beyond it. Access is from the nearby parking lot or the family campground to the south.
