To access this trail, you have to hike around two miles from either parking lot at the south or north end. Be aware as driving northbound is permitted on the gravel Bar M going to the north. Head through a gate (close it behind you) and find a parking spot where the doubletrack bends to the right.

This trail doesn't have a lot of elevation change. The northern end is ~100 ft lower than the southern end, but you'll end up accumulating another 100 vertical feet of climbing as you head through the Courthouse Wash. That said, the slope is very gradual save for a section of the wall itself which can be loose.
