DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multiuse, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and bikers. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze / thaw during the winter.

Description

Little River starts off of Corn Mill Shoals shortly after the western intersection with Burnt Mountain. After an easy descent, the trail crosses a log bridge over a small stream before the first intersection with Cedar Rock. After another half mile, the trail connects with the other end of Cedar Rock and continues for a few more yards where it ends at a clearing under some power lines.
