Description

The Flint Trail (completed in Dec 2016) provides a singletrack alternative to the Starr Pass Trail which in this area was an old access road. The Flint Trail follows in the spirit of the rest of the Starr Pass trail system. There are smooth sections, a few rocks to jump over, and enough turns to keep you on your toes.

The trail is named after Mark Flint, the trail's program coordinator for Pima County Natural Resources one of Tucson's premier trail advocates.

Sarasota to Flint to Cat Mountain to Flint and out on Sarasota trail. Great hike and made it out just at sunset! Scenic, not to strenuous for me.
