“The CW Trail is one of the more challenging sections of this trail system.
”
This trail system is in a multiuse National Forest area. During hunting seasons, primarily deer and turkey (spring), you should wear BLAZE ORANGE. All forest users are expected to wear blaze during hunting seasons. There are not a lot of hunters in this area but there are some. A blaze vest or shirt ensures your visibility. Rangers are emphatic that all trail users need to comply with this safety rule.
Description
Charlottes Web, or the CW Trail, begins at the South Trailhead on Sheep Ranch road and runs north, roughly paralleling Noxubee Hill road. The southern half of this trail is one of the more technical sections of this trail system. It is narrow with tight turns and short but somewhat steep climbs.
The flat mid section is on Noxubee Hill road for 0.2 mile in order to use two existing bridges. The northern half is a gradual uphill with many curves but on wider, more open trail. It terminates at the junction of Log Jump Trail, Noxubee Hill road and Long Bridge Trail.
