Description

The trail starts at FS road 669-Dry Fork/Beaver Basin and immediately climbs, quite steeply to the saddle on the ridge. From here, the trail continues in similar fashion with a steep, narrow descent in mixed forest. The grade eases through the descent before you finally find yourself climbing through huge aspen stands.

Once the trail tilts downward again, enjoy pleasant, low-angle descent through the aspens (which are incredible in the fall, by the way.) At a junction, you can stay right to check out Warner Lake or left to finish the singletrack. The trail dumps out onto the dirt road which you can follow downhill to Hazard County.
